WELCOME TO BRIGHTON

Brighton Acres boasts one of the most unique rural reception and event facilities in the state of Wisconsin. A working farm since the late 1800's, the venue has been converted to its present state as an event center over the past 8 years, preserving as much of its history, early and recent alike.  Brighton Acres is named after the township in which it sits.  Today, known as the Town of Nekimi; the Town of Brighton was settled in 1847.

This rural property provides several options to meet the needs of your specific gathering; whether it is a wedding, corporate event, fundraiser, anniversary or any other special family gathering.

The main feature of the property is The Barn; erected in 1915 by the Ruddy Family. The Barn was one of the first of its kind in the area, utilizing a new technique where each block of the wall was made on site. This open concept barn with all original wood presents a blank canvas for you to create the ideal ambiance for your event.

A landscaped courtyard flanked by a barn beam gazebo connects an old history to the more recent; the farm's former machine shed.  Now renovated into "The Shed", this banquet facility houses indoor restrooms, entertainment areas, an air-conditioned full-service bar and a private bridal suite.

About

Acquired in the 1940’s, Brighton Acres originated as a family-owned farm. The potential of the property was clear as friends and family began requesting to use the property for birthdays, anniversaries and eventually even weddings. After hosting more than 500 commercial weddings, the property has and continues to evolve into a space that we believe to be diverse in its options, beautiful and well laid out.
